2C-H or 2,5-dimethoxyphenethylamine is a new psychedelic drug based on phenylethylamine (substituted with phenylethylamine), belongs to the 2C drug variety (synthesized by Alexander Shulgin and described in the book about psychedelic drugs PiHKAL). 2C-H continues to be the forerunner of such designer drugs as 2C-B, 2C-I, 2C-N and has similar properties. 2C-H affects the 5-HT2C and 5-HT2A, 5-HT receptors, and can also cause changes in consciousness, hallucinations at elevated dosages. This drug has been little studied and little is known about its dosage and toxicity.
