Bromonordiazepam (Desalkylgidazepam) it is a drug of the benzodiazepines class, developed as an anti-anxiety, soothing, anticonvulsant. Bromonordiazepam IUPAC: 7-bromo-1,3-dihydro-5-phenyl-2H-1,4-benzodiazepin-2-one. Bromonordiazepam has properties to bind to the GABA receptor, expanding the inhibitory effect of GABA, acting as a modulator developing a receptor response. The active bromonordiazepam can be compared with diazepam (Valium), does not have stimulating or antipsychotic properties. This drug can enhance the effect of other sedative drugs and it is not recommended to use it with alcohol. The properties of bromonordiazepam are still poorly studied and there is little data on its properties and it is recommended to use it for research in laboratory conditions.
