Metonitazepyne (N-Pyrrolidino metonitazene, IUPAC: 2-[(4-methoxyphenyl)methyl]-5-nitro-1-(2-pyrrolidin-1-ylethyl)benzimidazole) is a new opioid analgesic, a derivative of benzimidazole, with high opioid potency, and has a similar structure and properties to etonitazene and is stronger than etonitazepyne and metonitazene. This drug acts as a strong analgesic, causing sedative effect and opoid euphoria. Regular use of metonitazepyne can lead to opioid dependence, with vomiting and respiratory depression possible at high dosages.
This drug is relatively new and there is little data on its toxicological properties and it is intended for research purposes in the laboratory.
